Herbal balms Nuntius
Balm is a mixture of medicinal plants macerated in some grease or oil with the addition of wax and often essential oils for the purpose of therapeutic effect. In concordance with tradition and clime, we use extra virgin olive oil and unrefined beewax with around thirty different plants and their different parts depending on the purpose, some are repeated because of the wide spectrum of activity, some are explained and some will stay hidden.
Extra virgin olive oil is a strong antioxidant rich in vitamins A and E and it reduces skin aging by preventing free radicals from adversely affecting the cells, nourishes and protects the skin.
Unrefined beeswax provides moisture retention, stimulates the cell, the skin absorbs it well and becomes smooth and gentle, acts anti-inflammatory and softening. It is also a natural preservative and is therefore a very important ingredient of Nuntius herbal balms.
