Lip balms Nuntius

Lip balms are natural balms based on olive oil, beeswax and combinations of medicinal herbs. Natural ingredients positively influence the protection of the lips from dryness and cracking caused by external influences.

Although completely different, the lips are quite similar to the rest of the skin. The skin consists of three layers. The outer layer of the skin is called epidermis, and the upper protective epidermis layer is called the stratum corneum. Below is dermis or dermis, and the lowest hypoderm.

Like the rest of the skin, the lips consist of all three of these layers - the difference is that the stratum corneum on the lips is far thinner than anywhere else on the body.
Lips also have no loose glands that otherwise hydrate the skin. The only source of moisture is slime, and that may be why they easily become dry and cracked.
Lips do not contain melanin, pigment that is natural protection, so they really need extra care.
