Essential oil is the essence of the plant, its unique defense system, so it is not surprising to have strong antioxidative, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Essential oils are called oils because they mostly swim on the water, but they are not oil, easy to blend and leave no greasy smears.

Essential oils are also called evaporation oils because by inhalation we can feel a psychophysical effect. Their small molecules quickly enter the body, so to slow them down they are used diluted in the so-called base vegetable oil or capsules.
This reduces the chance of irritation, and slower absorption allows longer and safer action.

Since essential oils are so concentrated and powerful, they almost always need to be diluted before applying to the skin.
